Backing better mental health: give your views on topics the Maudsley Charity should focus on

Maudsley Charity is an independent charity. The charity works with South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London, community and voluntary sector partners to achieve change through collaboration and a shared commitment to improve the lives of those who experience mental illness.

They support innovation and improvement, community collaboration and translational research, working with patients and families, clinical care teams, researchers and community organisations. 

Maudsley Charity are currently support a wide range of projects and topics through open calls for grant applications, and think it could make a bigger impact if they aligned their work on a small number of themes. The themes would run for 3-5 years, spending a minimum of £1-2million per year. 

The charity are currently at the early stage of exploring themes and are keen to get input from a wide range of people and organisations.
