Standing Together: A Message of Solidarity and Support

Healthwatch Southwark does not support or condone the actions or rhetoric associated with hate or division. We stand firmly against racism, extremism, and any behaviour that threatens the safety and dignity of our communities.

Southwark is proud to be a Borough of Sanctuary—a place that welcomes people from all backgrounds, cultures, and walks of life. We celebrate diversity and remain committed to inclusion, compassion, and justice.

To those affected: You are not alone

We recognise that such events can have a profound emotional and physical impact—whether you were directly involved, caught in the disruption, or affected by the atmosphere surrounding the protests.

We stand in solidarity with all who felt unsafe, unheard, or overwhelmed. Hate and division have no place in our city. We remain united in our support for those who advocate for equality, dignity, and human rights.
