Be Part of Research: Find out how to get involved in the National Institute for Health Research

Health research and the fantastic teams that deliver this work have been a daily feature in the news for many months. However, none of this research can happen without members of the public, up and down the country, putting their hands up and getting involved.

This year the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) is marking its annual International Clinical Trials Day and Be Part of Research campaign from May 17 until June 17 by sharing stories from some of these volunteers.

Here’s how you can get involved

Have you participated in health research? Share your story by joining the conversation and letting others know why health research is important to you on social media on Twitter and Facebook using the hashtag #BePartofResearch and tagging in the NIHR Clinical Research Network’s @ResNetLondon accounts.

Want to learn more or take part in a study?

Our aim is to encourage as many people as possible to volunteer for vital health research by visiting the NIHR’s Be Part of Research website. Discover how you can be part of research and take a look at studies across the country that are currently looking for people to take part.
