More NHS Volunteer Responders needed in London and South East

The NHS Volunteer Responders support people who are vulnerable because of COVID-19, and anyone who needs to self-isolate as a result of the virus. They deliver food, medication and other essentials to people’s homes, and also support NHS organisations with goods deliveries.
The app-based scheme enables volunteers to mark themselves on or off duty depending on their availability, making it easy to fit volunteering around other commitments. Further recruitment will follow in other target areas, each of which has been selected due to high demand for support compared to the volunteers available
The scheme is signing up volunteers in the following London Boroughs: Camden, Croydon, Ealing, Hackney, Hounslow, Islington, Kensington and Chelsea, Lambeth, Lewisham, Redbridge, Southwark, Wandsworth and Westminster. Recruitment is also open in areas of the South East; Hastings, Eastbourne, Brighton and Hove, Thanet.
