About this event
At the beginning of the year, we published our 'Mental Health Services: Unmet Need in Southwark' report which identified areas of unmet need within community adult mental health services and made recommendations on how to address them.
Our research involved conducting a survey asking local residents about their experiences of a range of mental health services provided by Southwark's local mental health trust, South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM). We focused on 5 key domains of care including access, waiting, suitability, impact and staff.
We held a workshop to present the key findings and hear South London and Maudsley's (SLAM) formal response.
We invite you to join us to review the impact of this report and SLAM's progress in addressing the key issues identified and implementing our recommendations. There will be an opportunity to review the key messages from the report and ask questions to representatives from SLAM about their response and next steps.
