About this event
Community Southwark is holding this #CSCrossSectorConference for everyone involved in Southwark's voluntary and community sector response to Covid-19.
For a health perspective, join us for the first session between 09:30 - 10:30, which will cover 'Health and care services during and post- COVID-19'.
You'll hear about the issues Southwark health services are facing and discuss how the VCS and health sector can work together after the pandemic to deliver better outcomes for local people. This is an opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise in how services should look as we move into recovery.

See below for more information on the days activities.
About Community Southwark: They are the umbrella body for the voluntary and community sector in Southwark supporting charities, community groups and individuals through: capacity building, volunteering and social action.
They want to hear from all of you, so together you can work out a way to support you to bounce back and re-open, or to emerge from the crisis period with a way to sustain the important work that you are doing.
The aims of the conference are to:
- get an update on the current sector response to the crisis
- find out what the emerging and future needs are and
- find practical ways to collaborate on these emerging themes.
- support discussions about how we can continue the increased collaboration we have seen during the crisis
- look at practical ways to support the needs of volunteers and enable social action
- build up a fuller picture of the experiences of the health and care system to inform sustainable improvements into the future.
- to build a strong future for the borough.
