About this event
This training is open to those of faith, and those who have none.
This training aims to:
Support both frontline staff and local people of SLaM boroughs Lambeth, Southwark, Lewisham & Croydon, to increase awareness of the relationship between mental health, spirituality, faith and belief in how we have the conversation about our wellbeing.
Address how spirituality is felt as missing from the care and recovery component of health at a time when people are seeking to make sense of what they are going through.
Look into how we can increase our own understanding of what spirituality means to people, show compassion and connectedness to improve mental health and wellbeing for all.
The event will include faith leaders working closely to promote good mental health in the communities they serve.
